Celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday At Knee High Preschool

At Knee High Preschool in Hillsborough, we love Dr. Seuss! From Green Eggs and Ham to The Cat in the Hat, our preschoolers learn a love of reading through his whimsical storytelling style. This month, we celebrate Dr. Seuss' life and all he has done to teach kids life lessons, like how to be responsible, how to help the environment, or how to have fun being our unique, individual selves.

How Did Knee High Preschool Celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday?

We practiced our sight words and literacy skills by reading our favorite Dr. Seuss books! Plus, we made our own Cat in the Hat masks and some crafty hand print Thing 1 and Thing 2 artwork. We also did a fun math activity by printing out a full-size Cat in the Hat and measuring our own height against his.
