Winter Activities For Preschoolers
Confetti Collage
Kids love making messes! Help your child make a controlled creative color blast by throwing confetti on a black sheet of paper, covered in glue. Shout, "Happy New Year!" at the top of your lungs as you play in confetti and create beautiful memories and art. If your child is slightly older, consider adding a photo to the center and practice writing New Year's Wishes across the paper once the confetti has dried. Enjoy your brand new year together!
Winter Themed "Freeze" Dance
Let your kids practice their gross motor skills and shake those sillies out playing freeze dance! Playing songs from "Frozen" are especially likely to be a crowd pleaser. Once the kids are tired of dancing, pull up a chair for a round of Musical Chairs!
Make Snow Paint
This craft is equal parts art and science experiment!
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup salt
